Amygdala
Amygdala
Amygdala is an “on going” project, the word Amygdala refers to the place in the brain where emotional memories are created, stored and processed. Some memories are strongly anchored in our memory, others become colored over time. Fragments from the past lose their context and their connection to the present gradually fades.
Through the use of collages, I express the layeredness of memories and make you think about how we deal with facts and manipulation, a theme that is very relevant today. Amygdala includes photographic work, drawings, objects and installations.
Amygdala resulted already in two publications and some exhibitions (FoMu .tiff selection (BE) & Circulations (FR)).
