AiR Biekorf 7.0

 CC Bruges calls on artists to provide an artistic response to our house artist's central wall work. This year, house artist Alice Vanderschoot used the exhibition space in Exporuimte Biekorf to present a multi-layered sculpture with the ambiguous title 'Out Of Office'. Using this work as inspiration, CC Bruges calls on everyone to reply to Alice.

Each artist gets the chance to formulate one answer within his/her specific visual language.
Alice will make a broad selection from the answers and use them to cure a group exhibition in Exporuimte Poortersloge during Brugotta Festival 2023.

- Inspiration: the 'Curiosity Killed the Cat' exhibition where you can discover 'Out Of Office' can be visited from Monday to Friday between 1pm and 5pm, Sint-Jakobsstraat 8, 8000 Bruges (via DJ Grazzhoppaplein). Closed at weekends and on public holidays. The wall work 'Out Of Office' can also be seen at ccbrugge.be/airbiekorf.
- Participating artworks (one work per artist) will be sent to Cultuurcentrum Brugge, Sint-Jakobsstraat 20, 8000 Bruges or handed in at the counter at the same address after making an appointment (jan.verhaeghe@brugge.be) from Tuesday to Friday between 1pm and 5pm.
- The deadline to submit an artwork is Friday 10 February 2023.
- The opening of the exhibition is scheduled for Thursday 6 April 2023 at 7pm where the publication presenting a selection of the works will be presented immediately. The exhibition is within Brugotta Festival 2023 and will be free to visit from Thursday 6 April 2023 to Sunday 28 May 2023 from Thursdays to Sundays from 2pm to 5pm.
During the Brugotta Festival (from 6 to 16 April 2023), the exhibition will be open daily.
