Fruit Salad is looking for queer- and FLINTA-artists

Join us for a free summer residency focused on queer and flinta artists. Fruit Salad aims to be a feminist, queer and accessible project. The goal is to empower and connect flinta artists while celebrating queer voices, queer bodies and queer art.
Fruit Salad is looking for artists, performers, printmakers, designers and illustrators to work together and alongside each other in a shared studio space in De Verffabriek during the month July. Every week there will chances for community meetings, open to all, in the form of workshops. You will also get free access to the printmaking studio at De Verffabriek. At the end of the residency we will organize a group expo.
Practical summary:
Who? Queer & Flinta artists between 18 and 30. Artist duo's or small collectives are also welcome.
What? A 4 week free summer residency with printmaking studio and weekly workshops + expo
Where? De Verffabriek, Flanelstraat 33 9000 Gent
When? From 2nd of july kick-off day till the expo on last weekend. The expo build up starts 25/07. The expo will be 26/07 and 27/07. It's important that your available at the opening 27/07 and to pick up your work 28/07.
