National Prize for Painting - Louise Dehem
In 2025, City of Ypres will organize for the tenth time the five-yearly National Prize for Painting - Louise Dehem. This prize aims to encourage young artists active in painting.
Who can participate?
Are you a painter born before 2007 and active in Belgium? Then you can participate in this contest.
Which prizes can be won?
The City of Ypres awards several prizes:
First Prize: € 4,000. The work will be included in the art patrimony of the City of Ypres.
Second Prize: € 1,500.
Prize for the best Ypres entry: € 750. (This prize is awarded by the City Cultural Council of Ypres).
The Prize for Painting 'Louise Dehem' is a collaboration between the City of Ypres, the Ypres Urban Cultural Council, the Yper Museum, dé Academie and Cultuurcentrum Het Perron.
