  • A chance to become an active part of our story

What do we ask?

A small contribution to BLUT!'s mission. That could be lending a helping hand, donating to our gift shop, or simply being part of what we're building together.

 

Our goal

To transform empty and abandoned spaces in our hometown of Kortrijk into a thriving community where art and people meet.
This open call might also be a stepping stone toward future collaboration, including curated solo or group exhibitions in upcoming BLUT! projects and locations.

We’re not looking for "perfect" or established work, but for a diversity of perspectives seeking connection in the heart of Kortrijk.

 

About BLUT! Art Gallery

BLUT! is an independent art space located in vacant buildings on Jan Persijnstraat in Kortrijk.
We operate with a no-budget (literally: blut!), DIY approach that brings art and community closer together.

What started as a spontaneous reaction to the exclusivity and commercialization of the traditional art world is now growing into a place where experimentation, accessibility, and collaboration come first.

We believe art should be for everyone, not just the happy few.
That's why we work with a Pay What You Can system and offer space to artists from diverse backgrounds, free from academic or commercial expectations.
