The aim of De Week van de Klank is to give the public a better knowledge of sound and its importance in society, through lectures, concerts, performances and installations.
Since its inception in 2011, De Week van de Klank has aimed to be more than just a festival. It is a social event, part of a broader international movement that wants to explore sound in all its aspects and make all actors in society aware of the importance of a quality sound environment.

For the next edition, De Week van de Klank is looking for sound installations, workshops or sound experiences that fit the theme for 2023: the voice.

Think of the voice as the (oldest) musical instrument, a human form of expression, but also of voice(es) in the figurative sense of the word. Let your imagination run wild and interpret the theme in an original way!
