Albert Willem lives and works in Alsemberg, near Brussels.
His work is characterized by the use of simple figures and colors. Although he would never proclaim it himself, Albert is considered by many to be the most influential artist of his generation. He made his big breakthrough with some stunning works on cheap cardboard when he was completely grounded and barely could affort any paint, yet he managed to deliver real masterpieces with a minimum of material. His immense talent was soon noticed on social media and the general public can now marvel at his work in major art cities such as Antwerp, Stockholm, London and Madrid.
