The basis of my work is the search between different art disciplines, combined with my structured lines, which originate from my chronic migraine.

I then let this quest live in my sculptures that can serve as pieces of furniture or vice versa.

My sculptures/paintings,... often take on an additional purpose. They become utility objects.

The ambiguity is central to my practice. I am looking for a coming together between the different art disciplines.

I try to capture the relationship between my sculptures, furniture, paintings, sketches, and digital drawings.

I create a tense field of recognizable elements and texts combined with abstraction. In this abstraction, I work with very pronounced vibrating colors. A clear interplay of lines is the basis for this. She refers to her lines as 'structured chaos'. The structured lines were created by my chronic migraines. The obsessive placement and repetition of lines create a calming effect for me.

I see this as a way of communicating/writing. But this writing is not always done in a literal way, the layering of the texts and lines makes it not always readable/recognizable.

I create tension by making the viewer search for the recognizable, the readable.
