One Trip is a short comic story.

I made this comic about one of my trips to Mt. Fuji and Kawaguchi Lake through my eyes as a foreigner living in Japan.

In this short comic work, I combine the timeline of my childhood memories and old family film photos into the timeline of my current travels. By doing so, I explore the shape of my childhood memories and the identity of my personal life experience of living in other places as a foreigner.

Moreover, One Trip was named the 23rd 1_WALL Graphics Encouragement Award by Japanese designer Kazunari Hattori.
