The video's show three different pieces of nature floating in an empty black space. The locations are based on 'loci amoeni' or idealised places outside of time and society. The meditative sounds of the flowing water invite the viewer to pause and contemplate the landscape. Stasis refers to an impossible state of balance or equilibrium and plays with notions of material and ideal, movement and inertia and artificial and natural and offers the viewer a place to reflect.
