“Infinite Rehearsal” is a series of allegorical portraits and staged situations that delves into the complexities of human connectedness. It is a collaboration between the photographer and professional performers, sharing and reinterpreting personal experiences within the privacy of the studio.

The events depicted in the photographs remain elusive and ambiguous. However, the focus lies on the nonverbal relationships between the figures standing in front of the lens and the tension that develops within their interactions. Impoverished communication mediated through phones and post-it notes is contradicted by gestures and body proximities. Intimacy and togetherness are challenged by dense remoteness and individualism. Photographs of the studio spaces reveal traces of both presence and absence, emphasizing the contrast between these opposing states.

While together in the studio, the roles of the narrator, photographer and performer alternate, transforming our individual stories into a collective exploration.
