Meet Lulu. Here I really tried to let go of what is found to be ‘beautiful’, ‘right’ or ‘realistic’… I just painted what I felt, and at that time I was feeling funky! ;-)
Lulu has pink hair, a purple face and chunky, puffy potato-like hands. I tried to paint her in an impressionistic and "Van Gogh-ish" style.⠀

Lulu is wearing a joyful dress and is sitting on the floor, leaning on a chair. Looking into a far distance, not amused by the current situation in the world. And yet, she is bright and optimistic. Ready to go out and shine, as soon the pandemic will allow it.
