Acrylic paint on paper

I made this portrait after a visit to the Brücke-museum in Berlin, close to Jimmie's studio in Zehlendorf. I was overwelmed by the expression and the colors of the shadows in the paintings. I was so very lucky to be Jimmie's assistant in those days. He is the best teacher I ever had.
