Specifically, we try to hold on to the past with pictures and we try to get a picture of the future through superstition. We find it difficult to stand in the middle (the present). We would rather immerse ourselves in illusions than be present. Therefore, the "present" is not visibly depicted in the work, but it is always there. Somewhere between the past and the future. At the same time, past, present and future are always happening at the same time.
