Every day, we use digital tools like Instagram and Facebook. It’s important to reflect on why we use them and whether that use is truly worthwhile. Often, negative habits such as doomscrolling are closely tied to these platforms. Is it possible to engage with them only actively—by posting and communicating—without passively consuming content?

This work was inspired by Deep Work by Cal Newport and was developed as part of my bachelor’s graduation project at LUCA School of Arts.
