Chronos the monster of threshold

Chronos, the devourer of time. It makes me believe that time exists and fills me with anxiety when time slips out of control, when I miss a train or am late for an appointment. It punishes me when I don't pay bills on time or when I forget important moments in certain relationships. It deceives me into thinking I can control time if I run faster. But in reality, all it does is devour me piece by piece. This monster traps me in time, making me forget the importance of breathing. When I observe my breath, I feel present in the moment, and I can observe myself more closely. Breathing and racing against time is a struggle between opposites, and I feel caught in the middle. Working on this monster has reminded me of the importance of breath and rebirth, escaping from mental thoughts and replacing them with focus, breath, and self-observation. Chronos, time, who devoured his children out of fear of being overthrown. This monster represents rebirth from the womb of Chronos, but also a trap for all the times we identify with time.
