Most members of the nearly 8 billion-member homo sapiens club see themselves as the orthocenter of divine creation and/or evolution. As an ancient Greek champion or a Roman triumphator, we therefore have the right to adorn our heads with a laurel wreath: a "corona triumphalis". In the Covid-19 context, the wreath has the tendency to resemble a crown of thorns for the divine creator leading his children to the slaughterhouse.

Inspired by Michelangelo's iconic, unique David in plague-ravaged Florence, this contemporary, interchangeable shop-window mannequin makes a dramatic attempt to maintain its balance. Around his neck the figure bears the weight of memories. Unlike Michelangelo who gave his  David too big a head as a sign of intelligence, this David@Covid-19's  brain is almost invisible. As yet more ignorance than knowledge exists about the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
