This is a handbound book of an intimate project of etching artist Maxim Van Cauwenberge. The book is a visual interpretation about the pain, love and  loneliness of his long distance relationship with his girlfriend, who lives in Russia. During the Covid-19 pandemic they weren't able to see each other for months. The sensitivity and emotion of the content of the book are projected in het binding method. A coptic bound kettle stitch was used with an exposed spine, using black thread.
