This piece celebrates the beauty of the mundane objects and the moments you take just for yourself. I love having a tea but in the busy life I never get to it. I still remember the day I drank a cup of tea and in the moment of stillness decided to draw the cup studying the used tea bag sitting alone in the bottom of the cup. I later returned to that drawing of mine to create this etching and relive that moment of cozy calmness.
