This work focuses on spaces where power, bodies, and control are inextricably intertwined—spaces shaped by male dominance, intoxication, and systemic exploitation. At its center is the Bar Ghetto in Offenbach, a Yugoslavian 24/7 bar where excess, surveillance, and sexual violence intersect. The work approaches the place through close, sustained engagement—an attempt to uncover structures that exist between performance and stagnation, between surface and violence.
