Ik spoel terug is een procesmatig en chronologisch onderzoek naar herinneringen naar mijn jeugd met en bij mijn grootouders die zich in beelden omzetten. Het is een emotioneel proces dat verweven is met herhaling. Die herhaling zit in de steken die ik in papier zette met mijn naaimachine.

Ik spoel terug is a process-based and chronological investigation into memories of my childhood with and at my grandparents' house, which are transformed into images. It is an emotional process interwoven with repetition. That repetition is found in the stitches I made in paper with my sewing machine.
