This work is painted from model reference, poses that I came up with inspired by a dance performance I've seen in Brussels. Where two dancers were moving around the stage tangled within eachother, like one creature, not individuals. This long and strange spectacle left me with feeling of uncanny, even repulsion. I wanted to convey this fascinating effect of bodies in a physcial struggle together in my work .
