The work is a painting but it has a 3-dimensional aspect. For a period, I worked on found panels, and often stamped canvas onto them to paint on. On one occasion, dissatisfied with the canvas, I turned the panel over and painted directly onto it, using fresh gesso and oil pastel. This is the only painting I kept during the period.
