Storytelling is a the core of everything I do. Through my stories I create parallel universes, which offer an alternative way to address real world complex issues.

The work I present is also a story, one about time and care, about lost care and empathy fatigue. It is a story in search of a solution to a problem, namely a healthcare system that has become an abuser of those it vowed to protect and serve. A system which lacks of resources to care, predominantly time. Hospitals have become efficient factories.

This story takes place in a world severely affected by the illness of Chronomania, caused by a time eating parasite, the Tempus Devorantis. The era can be compared to our European industrial revolution. For the sake of the suspension of disbelief, I have brought to you a piece of that realm: a collection of small assemblages, and found and handcrafted objects that together form a short of Victorian cabinet of curiosities. Exploratory tools, temporal instruments, and defensive artifacts designed to uncover, measure, manipulate, and protect against the time-eating parasite and the influence of Chronomania.
