While working as a nurse in the hospital, I often saw families bringing flowers to lift the spirits of their loved ones. Unfortunately, we couldn’t use glass vases due to safety and hygiene concerns. Instead, flowers often ended up in plain plastic bottles.
This experience inspired me to create something special: decorative covers that would transform these everyday bottles into attractive displays. The designs were inspired by simple sewing techniques, making it easy to adapt the shapes and produce them with minimal technological requirements or specialized skills.
Using discarded PVC sheets and banners, I developed a small collection of decorative vases and lampshades. Each piece not only looks beautiful but is also sturdy; no worries about them breaking if they fall. They’re easy to clean and stack, making them practical for any home.
