Persona (2024) STILL IN PROGRESS

When I worked as a student in a supermarket in Ghent and rattled off the same conversation all day, I noticed how quickly I could cause confusion by twisting sentences, using strange words and spouting nonsense. We humans usually behave in an exemplary manner. I was curious what would happen if we stretch this predictability. 

Inspired by this, I made this publication in which I deconstruct and rebuild conversations by putting the words in alphabetical order. The words are hand-drawn and reprinted on newsprint.
