Blind fish
Blind fish
The ongoing project “I see everything, yet nothing makes sense to me” — including the piece “Blind Fish,” conceived on the banks of the Schelde and inspired by the striking red eyes of a fish found on the Atlantic coast of Galicia — reflects on perception, disorientation, and the search for direction when familiar points of reference disappear.
Through tactile, time-sensitive materials, I search for a language that captures both fragility and strength — a way to translate transformation into form and to give inner experience a tangible voice.
A sculpture suitable for both wall hanging and free-standing display. Made of plaster, dry clay and acrylic. 2025
