A painting that took very long to make, but i’m happy with the result 🔥🔥🔥

With this painting I wanted to schare the feeling that I had about the vulkano eruption at Kilauea op Hawaï in 2018. I was so shocked about the destroyed landscape, the burned down houses and the horrible things done by nature at that place. 

When I heard about these conditions, I thought in my mind that it also could be happening at my own home. That also everything in my environment could be destroyed. So just after that thought I wanted to paint a painting that presented this sad feeling and what I would do if a volcano eruption would happen in Belgium.

So in this painting I present myself in a pose to protect my houseplant to a imaginary vulkano eruption.
