Portraits of 11 and 12 years old show the fears and concerns of the parents having children in this age (e.g. traffic accidents, violence, addiction,…) The warm earthly colors reflect a transcendent and timeless feeling and create an intimate sense. At the same time, it gives the illusion that the children emerge from the background like heroes or gods of imaginative mythology and move over the ordinary reality. They are pure, divine and powerful, representing the magic of childhood we cannot reach in older ages.
