This piece as photographed is not finished but will be in the coming few days . For the purpose of meeting the application deadline , I hope it suffices to see what it is and it’s undoubted association with textile . 

This work has been a long time in the making and represents grief . Grief suffered in the face of death too close to home and despair of one’s creative soul as a consequence , when one wants to say : ‘ what’s the ffffing point  - I’m hanging my coat up and saving myself from this torture ‘
