With this competition, Maldegem city council wants to provide a platform for (local) visual artists to go public with their work. This third edition is entirely dedicated to TEMPUS FUGIT - time flies. This open call results in a special group exhibition in Sint-Annakasteel in Maldegem from 17 June to 17 July 2023.

The competition is open to everyone, aged 16 and above.
Participation is free of charge.
Within the competition, each participant may submit one piece of art (a pair or series belonging together is captured in one image).
Applications can be submitted no later than Sunday 23 April 2023 midnight.

A professional jury, including Nick Ervinck, will make a selection of the most expressive works, which will then be displayed in the exhibition at Sint-Annakasteel (Westeindestraat 1). From all the selected works, a number of laureates will also be chosen, who can thus win a nice cash prize.
