Open Call
Showcase your work from art school in Kunstletters

Are you active in an art school and do you want to show your work to the public? Then this call is for you! Kunstletters, the magazine of Kunstwerkt, makes room for fresh, surprising voices from the academies. Do you want your creations to sparkle in the new issue? Seize this opportunity and introduce your work to the general public!
How can you participate?
It's very simple: show what you create at the academy by submitting a maximum of three works. Upload photos of these works to Beeld, Kunstwerkt's digital platform, by Monday, November 17.
Who is it for?
All visual artists currently affiliated with an art academy in Flanders or Brussels (deeltijds kunstonderwijs).
Meybe your images may soon be featured in a spring-fresh section of Kunstletters—an ode to creativity and experimentation in the academies.
Why participate?
Your work will be featured in the next issue of Kunstletters (January-March 2026 edition), reaching a wide audience of art lovers and fellow artists.
How?
- You can participate until Monday, November 17, by posting your work on this platform.
- The Kunstletters editorial board will review all submissions and make a final selection, aiming for a nice mix of themes, techniques, and materials.
- Before November 25, you will receive a message informing you whether or not your work has been selected.
- If your work is selected, we will ask you for a high-resolution photo (300 dpi) of the chosen work.
Kunstletters?
Kunstletters is published four times a year. Each seasonal issue is packed with inspiring conversations, candid portraits, exhibition tips, and trends or techniques. In each issue, we highlight a theme through powerful visual art, mainly by emerging talent.
