STU13 OPEN CALL: for students of the Royal Academy Antwerp and Sint Lucas Antwerp.

With STU13, we invite 13 students from Sint Lucas Antwerp and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp to take part in a group exhibition at De Blikfabriek from 30 October to 2 November.


STU13: A Group Exhibition with 13 Students

A horse walking through an open field. It’s calm, free, just moving forward. That image stuck with us. Because in a way, that’s what we’re all searching for as art students. The Freedom to create what we want to create. Though we come from different schools, we share the same horizon. And eventually, we all step into the same field: art.

 
We invite students to explore this space together in a group exhibition at De Blikfabriek. Whether you are just beginning your studies or standing at the threshold of your final year, we encourage you to apply. Participation is free and any visual medium is welcome.
 
If selected, you’ll join 12 fellow students in a collaborative process. Through group sessions, you’ll share your practice, test ideas, and slowly piece together a common ground. Collaboration is key: both in shaping the journey and in curating the exhibition.
 
There’s no set theme for this open call. What matters is that we can see who you are as an artist through a few pieces of your work. Bring back that image of the horse: something only runs free when it feels the inner drive to do so. Let us see yours.

  • Students from Fashion, Costume, Studio Jewelry, the Educational Master in Fine Arts, and Communication programs are not eligible to apply for this exhibition.
