What does the Song of the Sun mean to you? THE MINDERE calls on you to get creative with themes from the text. Translate it into music, images or words and submit your work by 31 May 2025.

Z8 Roept is an open call to makers, artists and collectives of all ages. THE MINDERE offers an online platform to all submitted work and shows a selection of all creations at the Z8 Expo and the Z8 Festival. The selection is done by 3 selection committees: one for visual art, one for music and one for words. The committees are coached by Jeroen D'hoe for music, Jee Kast for word and Amber Croonen for visual arts.  Each committee includes a young person, a senior citizen and a person with a disability.

Selected entries will be featured in the Z8 Expo from 4 October (name day of Francis and World Animal Day) to 4 January 2026 and the Z8 Festival on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 October.
