I have three decades of work experience, but after a personal dark period, I found solace in
creativity. From this experience grew the urge to create and to explore imagination and artistic
freedom.
This desire led me to KASK Ghent, where I am now in my third year of the Bachelor in
Performance. Here, I found the space to experiment and to investigate the body as a central
medium of expression. My work arises from a deep personal necessity: making visible what
often remains hidden and processing experiences through ritual actions.
The body, both fragile and resilient, lies at the heart of my practice. It becomes a site where
identity, vulnerability, and strength converge. In my performances, I explore how bodily presence
can resist social and political forces, and how rituals of exposure and repair can create space for
reflection.
At this stage in my journey, I feel a strong need to show my work beyond the academy. Sharing
my art is not only part of my development as an artist — it is essential. Through performance, I
invite the audience to reflect on their own relationship to the body, freedom, and identity, and to
recognize themselves in the fragile yet powerful gestures I bring to life.
