1 of my interests & activities is creating photos. I try to combine the classical genres ‘travel photography’, ‘street photography’ & ‘fine art photography’.

Images have been shown online on the WWW and printed/framed in exhibitions, have won photo contest prices and people have been willing to buy my printed photos.

This interest and expertise is based on other components of my life: Since my childhood I have been increasingly active with photography. This journey started of course with simple analog photography and evolved to using advanced and up-to-date equipment, software and printing papers. For my academic/professional work I have been awarded with a Doctoral degree in Science (Physics) and further with a post-doctoral academic degree. Later my growing expertise in the area of computer applications for information management has formed the basis for teaching that included topics in digital imaging at the Vrije Universiteit Brussels and at University of Antwerp in Belgium. My academic career and involvement with international organizations like Unesco has pushed me to work and travel in more than 50 countries. In the background of these activities has always floated an interest in visual arts.

For this show, each photo has been brought from a different country.

For printing I use pigment inks, mainly on matte or satin museum quality pure cotton papers.
