My name is Samira. I am 26 years old and living between a small village in Flanders and the big city of Antwerp. I have two bachelor degrees, one in Graphic Design and one in Brand & Packaging design. Currently I work for Allyens, the only communication agency in Belgium focused on Inclusive Communications. 



I love to talk about the importance of design, as we’re surrounded by it everywhere nowadays. Design is a visual language that I use to communicate with people. What I like most about it, is its accessibility to all. Every m/v/x can understand design and interpret it in his/her/x own way. Personally, I think that design is more than just supporting a message or making things beautiful; it is about transforming ideas and thoughts into art. Design is a universal language in which I can express myself freely. It is an art form that makes it possible for people to experience and see the world in different forms and colours.



I am intrigued by cultural diversity and I try to use this in my work. Because of my bicultural background — Moroccan/ Riffian-Belgian — my input on art and artistic creation is twice as big. This double cultural heritage is reflected in my style, which is elegant yet professional.
