This morning we left again at 8 am, this time towards Toulouse. We will be staying in a hotel in the center of the city and want to visit the Basilica.

We are back from our walk in the center of Toulouse. What a rich city with many beautiful buildings. The Capitol was surprising with many beautiful paintings and murals inside.

The Basilica was a bit disappointing because it was very dark. The sandstone cathedral of Bourges was more impressive. We are getting used to those very tall theatrical buildings with that trip to Rouen in the back of our minds.

It is hot, way too hot. We had a drink on a terrace where water was misted and it refreshed us. After some shopping we walked back to our hotel for rest and a shower.
