Echo is an audiovisual work based on an object I found during one of my walks to collect discarded objects. The piece of red phase wire, also the last object I took, became the basis of the sonic composition I made for electric guitar. After studying the shape of the object in detail, I started drawing it for several months. Two graphic notations resulted from this.

The graphic notations are different in character. The first one is a more precise representation of the characteristics of the object, its shape, color, details, how over time it ended up in the folds in which I found it. The second, is a more expressive version of the object. In this I allowed more space to connect all the contemplative and subjective reflections I made while drawing with its original form.

A third section of the work consists of a self-written text summarizing the dominant thoughts I experienced throughout the making process. It is a short poetic essay that seeks the origins of copper and how it has found its place in mythology fused with a potentional vision of the future.
