With this piece i wanted to dive into the details of a shoe and the craftmanship that goes into creating them. Having your shows laced up also signifies the start of something, going somewhere and being ready to leave and I wanted to play with that idea to create this work. Shoes are something that travel with us, they go to places with us and even take us there in a way.
