The device questions the rationalist omnipresence that has forged contemporary equipment. We are confronted with a machine attempting to extricate itself from the deterministic regime traditionally expected of the robotic object. The dissident machine takes its place in a formal tension device, materialised by a physical tension (oversized industrial straps) and a visual tension (the squared-off space of a video surveillance system) establishing the precious conditions for a challenge to Cartesian dichotomies. The post-robotic organism takes its place in space by escaping the iterability of the formal intervention produced.
Each entry/exit cycle of the transparent organ, half fungal / half root, generates a unique form under the effect of the contingencies and uncontrollable parameters of the environment encountered. The video/detection device fixes the set of unique positions in a pseudo-map archiving the deployment in space.
Somewhere between hacking and uncontrollable implantation, access to the electrical flows is achieved by hijacking the electrons of part of the circuit, in a parasitic impulse.

Leaving a few essential threads.
The algorithm governing the cycles of the flexible part is set in situ, according to the interaction of the artist/agent.ex with the site during the installation. Each iteration of the installation protocol leads to a mutant deployment, the work evolving with the exhibition spaces that host it.
