This videomapping installation explores the creative interaction between clothing and our sense of identity by projecting scraps offabrics on pieces of clothing while we hear scraps of the filmmaker’s grandmother’s voice. While reminiscing her younger days and the clothes she used to wear and make for herself, she tells us about her little acts of resistance against social norms and expectations.

Six pieces of white clothing are floating in space like canvasses while different kind of texts are projected onto them as if they were filmscreens. These texts include all kind of images and discourse which is to be found about, around, on and in clothing: tags, fashion magazine covers, flower patterns and so on. Through these projections the meanings of clothing are reinforced, erased and rewritten in the same way we give meaning to our bodies by wearing clothes
