About this sculpture:

The medium of plasma art is a fusion of art, science and technology. Blown glass is filled with noble gases and energized by a high-voltage power supply, producing plasma light that glows, moves and interacts with touch.  

"Ultra-Violet" was exhibited most recently in Belgium as part of the group exhibition Piet Staut 2024 Klein Sculptuur, Cortewalle Castle, Beveren, East Flanders, and previously in the United States at Florida CraftArt, St. Petersburg, Florida.
