Freeing birds, doves from the Arabic language

Freeing birds, doves from the Arabic language

Mahmoud Darwish serves as a profound inspiration in the artist's exploration of language and birds. Influenced by his poetry, the artist seeks to liberate birds from the constraints of language. In one piece, a bird is depicted as being trapped within an abstractly written Arabic letter.
A bead, symbolizing an egg or soul, rests between two wooden knitting tools. Through this work, the artist strives to intertwine the French and Arabic languages, attempting to free the bird from it.
