I am interested in the creation of an object through the creation of connections from form to form, from arc to arc - and I am always fascinated by this.

Here I asked myself the question of my artistic approach. Is it the space that I am trying to grasp, is it the connection that ultimately gives the sculpture its effect and appearance, in which direction can I steer this?

The fewer arches, the more concrete the objects. What spatial effect does an arch have on its own? The arch as a shelter, as a closed space towards the ground or rising up into the sky, the space then presents itself free and open.

My current works can be categorised as constructive, concrete art; they fit into the space unobtrusively and with a playful lightness. My play with colour and form awakens associations in the viewer, who is invited into three-dimensionality and finds the calm and balance that the works radiate.
