This work was made in the summer of 2025 during my residency at The 11th Feminist Art Colony in Sicevo, Serbia.

Systems of Harm and Care is a developing series of paper and textile compositions where stitching functions as both wound and remedy. Minimal grids and fields recall institutional order, while gauze, sutures, and hanging threads expose the failures and labors of care, what is obscured, repaired, or left unfinished. We register pressure, protocol, and blood; restraint and rupture. Together, the pieces hold a charged tension between control and tenderness, documenting how bodies meet systems and how repair persists despite harm.
