An early phase of this process is accepting the

existence of social environment blindfolds and

bindings. These are often composed of a

woman’s own beliefs – beliefs formed

throughout childhood and adulthood, and

accepted as truths. The haze of past and present

makes this phase all the more disorientating.

After all, a narrow, moulded mind is not a

synonym for clarity.
