I found a trash bag on the street filled with betting slips from a gambling office. On social media, people were invited to guess the total value of the bag (that is the sum of all the money indicated on the slips) and the person who guessed correctly won the bag. While counting the slips, I discovered personal notes and information written by individuals. I analyzed these materials and created categories of people, such as “the artists” and “the mansplainers.” For each category, I wrote short texts reflecting on these personas, which simultaneously offered insights into myself. The work was published in a magazine dedicated to text-based art.
