Welcome to my attempt at bearing witness to engaging with art as pleasure without a goal of a product or finished work in mind. This zine is a place where the draft and doodle are glorified. It is an incomplete account of lines found in my journals and sketchbooks. I will not say that there is much order to be found, but there’s a lot of vulnerability and rambling."

This is an excerpt from my third volume of Oefenen Baart Plezier. I think it nicely sums up the chaos and philosophy behind what I compile in each zine. The greatest comfort I found in making them and sharing them with the public is people getting in touch and telling me how in moments of blocked creativity or doubt my zine helped them to re-engage with their creative practice.  What more could you want from being vulnerable with the world?
