A shadow, apart from its own surface, has no texture, colour, material or shape. I started working with this approach in my master year and my thoughts led to a sculpture of deformed letters. I deformed this sculpture several times until only the physical movement of the letter remained. A movement to which I, as maker, gave the shape, material, texture and colour.
